Grosafe FreeFlo Copper - Broad-spectrum fungicide - FRUIT & VEGES - 200gm
Copper is a popular broad-spectrum fungicide used to treat a wide range of fungal and bacterial diseases including black rot, leaf curl, stonefruit blast, downey mildew, buxux blight, verrucosis, leaf spots, shot hole, brown rot, fire blight, bacterial spot, melanose, european canker, rust, potato blight (early or late), bacterial speck and anthracnose. Copper is also a micronutrient essential for plants.
This is for the 200gm Grosafe FreeFlo Copper for Fruit and Vegetables, which makes up to 50 litres. Measuring cup included.
Why is Grosafe Copper superior to other copper treatments?
Grosafe FreeFlo Copper is a certified input for organics in the form of water-dispersable copper hydroxide, making it more rain-fast and more efficient due to the fine particle size, as well as more bioavailable for better protection from both fungal and bacterial pathogens (pathogens are bacteria, viruses, or other microorganisms that can cause disease). Grosafe's Copper also means less elemental copper for better environmental protection. Certified input for Organics. One day witholding period.
How does it work?
The copper crystals adhere to the leaf surface and continuously release free copper ions, creating a protective barrier that prevents infection. With Grosafe's average particle size a tiny 1.711 microns (compared to copper competitors which average around 7 microns), Grosafe FreeFlo Copper provides better coverage, better staying power as well as making it easier to mix with virtually no dust plus better suspension in water for problem-free prep and spraying.
How to mix and apply Grosafe FreeFlo Copper
Half-fill the spray tank with water. Slowly add the required amount of FreeFlo Copper, stirring well as you go. Top up with the rest of the water and you're ready to spray. The measuring cap (included), has marked lines (filled to the top it's equal to 11 grams). Spray to cover well (saturate to the point the solution starts to drip). Can be used by itself, however for best results, use with a compatible spreader such as EcoSpread to reduce beading, increase coverage and ensure better distribution, especially during difficult weather such as hot and dry conditions.
Find your fruit or vegetable and check the dose below:
APPLES (Black Spot) 11 grams (one cap) per 10 litres. Full cover spray. Apply between silver tip and green tip (max 1cm green tip).
CITRUS (Melanose Verrucosis) 4.5 to 9 grams per 10 litres. Apply before and after blossom.
CITRUS (Brown Rot) 9 to 11 grams per 10 litres water. Apply to skirts of trees in Autumn to a height of 1 metre to the drip line and 50cms beyond the drip line. Use higher rate is conditions favour disease.

PASSIONFRUIT (Septoria Spot, Brown Rot, Grease Spot) 4.5 grams per 10 litres water. Apply at 2 to 4 week intervals from November to March, alternating with maneb/mancozeb. For grease spot 2 week intervals may be required.
STONE FRUIT (Leaf Curl, Shot Hole, Bladder Plum) 11 grams (1 cap) per 10 litres water. Apply when buds are swelling, within one week before buds open, with a second application of 11.5grams per 10 litres water, 10 to 14 days later.
