Miniature Glazed Ceramic Planter - SAPPHIRE
Most often used for succulents, these teeny weeny planter pots (with drainage hole), are handmade and glazed with a glossy, ice-crack finish over ceramic. The cutest display for tiny baby house plants, succulents, cacti and leaf-propagation.
There are 8 colours to choose from. Choose a set of 3 to create the interior designer's 'magic rule of 3' which is simply to display things in sets of 3's (or 6's or 9's), for the most visually appealing display.
The colours are: Jade and Emerald in the greens. Mulberry and Amethyst in the pinky-purples. Pearl and Citrine in the neutrals, and Sapphire and Aquamarine in the blues.
This for the SAPPHIRE. There are 2 available in this colour, while stocks last. Being one of the darker glazes, the ice-cracked effect is barely visible, resulting in a lovely deep shade of blue.
(note just the first photo shows the Sapphire colour, the other 3 photos show the Jade colour which are for reference to show them planted, the drainage hole and the base)
Each tiny planter measures just 6cms wide x 3cms tall (give or take a few mm's, as they are hand-made). Each is slightly different, please do allow for imperfections. They have a single drainage hole in the base to keep substrate dry and free-draining.
Made from warm-brown, smooth ceramic clay underneath, finished in a glaze dip which is then ice-cracked before being fired, giving each one a unique crackled finish. The lighter coloured pots show up more of the Mother-of-Pearl crackled finish than the darker colours do. Allow for variations in colour and cracking as the glaze doesn't always come out the same.
A superb combo with a small bag of Bioleaf Succulent Mix Fine Blend which comes in a handy smaller 2 litre bag. These pots really are tiny, so please do measure before you buy.
Use them for...
I love these with baby succulents and cacti of course, many of which are well suited to tiny pots as they typically have very shallow, fine roots. They're especially cute with lithops.
I also used these for soil propagation for cuttings, especially for leaf propagation like Peperomia and African Violets babies. They take up so little room, don't overwhelm the leaf with substrate and water, and the smooth finish and open shape makes it so easy to slide cuttings and babies out, substrate and all, when ready to pot up, reducing root damage. And yes, they also make adorable tiny trinket trays too.

Add $2 to upgrade to signature required. Well worth it for anything valuable or limited edition that can't be replaced. Choosing signature required gives both of us the ability to claim if anything goes wrong with the courier.

"Super impressed with this business. Something that is lost nowadays, is customer service. This however is not the case with Anna from Love that Leaf. Very happy with my purchase, very happy with the product information provided and very happy with the quick shipping and great packaging. Thanks!" Melayna Anderson
"By far the best customer care I've had in a long time. Website is such a wealth of information and the email with instructions for use after my purchase was fantastic. The pipette for measuring the correct amount was such a great inclusion, and the personalised message on the package was very cool. Definitely my go to shop for plant supplies now. Thanks Love That Leaf! A+++" Karyn Wilson
