Pearls and Jade / Glacier Pothos (triple planted) - Auckland pick-up only
This plant is one of one. The exact plant shown in all photos is the one you'll receive. Pick up only. Please read the Plant Pick Up FAQ's at the end before you add to cart.
Glacier or Pearls and Jade Pothos
When these first came out growers here called them 'Glacier' however comparing with what's available overseas, it turns out we should probably have been calling them 'Pearls and Jade' all along, as the variety we have in NZ has the same more speckled, creamy-white, slightly longer leaves like Pearls and Jade (compared to the wider leaves with cleaner white and fewer freckles of the Glacier). But whatever you call her, she's a beauty (this Pothos leaf guide shows you the difference).
All photos are the same plant, the exact one you're getting. Triple planted with 2 active growth tips. Currently in an 11cm wide clear nursery pot. Growing really well with beautiful variegated new growth that's getting more and more variegated with each new leaf. Currently measures around 24cms tall including the pot. Ready to climb or could be left to vine if you prefer. You will get bigger leaves and faster growth when climbing.
New growth comes in pale cream and lightens as the leaves mature, however this plant is more variegated and brighter, whiter-cream than normal. Being triple planted it helps avoids that bare look of a single planted stem like most plants, so you're getting three times the usual plant in one.
Make sure to read the plant pick-up FAQ's below before you buy.
Pearls and Jade Pothos Care
Bright indirect light is ideal, no direct sun. Frequent, light fertilising is recommended as they can be quite fast growing. Already acclimatised to shelf life (not coming to you from a greenhouse or nursery with artificial conditions), so will settle in faster and start growing again sooner. I use 5mls of GT Foliage Focus per 1 litre water, every time I water.
A temperature range of around 15 to 30 degrees is tolerated with 16 to 26 degrees preferred. Water when the top half or so of the pot is dry if in a chunky mix, or 3/4 dry if in a more dense, moisture-retentive mix. They tolerate under-watering better than over-watering.
They can climb or vine. Currently vining but could easily be trained to climb instead (and leaves do get bigger when climbing). Fast growing when happy. Like being kept lightly moist, not fully dry, definitely not wet or soggy!

I want it! How do I get this plant?
Add to cart then check out like normal. It doesn't matter what address you enter when you checkout, so enter your address like usual. Choose the free shipping option called PLANT PICK-UP (you can only select this option if you have a plant included with your order). This plant cannot be shipped to you because covid combined with recent long weekends is causing unpredictable shipping times, so I don't want to risk shipping plants at the moment. Once paid for, it's all yours! I'll email you the pick-up details.
Where is pick-up from?
One Tree Hill in Auckland. Once your order's completed, I'll email you to arrange a pick-up day and time that suits you. Pick-up is required within 7 days of ordering. Pick-up can be between 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday, or 9am to midday Saturday. I'll email you the address and my mobile number after you order.
Please note it will be contactless pick-up, so your plant will be placed safely under shelter for you to collect, on the day and time you choose. Only your plant will be waiting for you, with your name on the box :)
Can I order other products for pick-up also?
Yes, you can. Provided you have a pick-up plant in your order, you can add other products to the same order, and collect everything at the same time (however without a plant in your order, you cannot do 'click and collect' or pick-up).
Can you put a plant 'on hold' for me?
No holds or rain-checks sorry. Only once your order is paid for is your plant is all yours. Adding to cart does not 'save' a plant for you, or block others from buying it. It really is 'first in, first served' and orders do need to be completed and paid for on the website.
Can someone else pick my order up for me?
Yes, they can. The only two people who know what day and time your plant will be ready for collection is you and me, so if you want to share those details with someone else so they can collect for you.
Can I change which plant I get?
The plant you will receive is the exact plant in the photos only. Every plant I list is one of one, with each plant photographed separately, so cannot be changed for a different plant.

"Super impressed with this business. Something that is lost nowadays, is customer service. This however is not the case with Anna from “Love that Leaf”. Very happy with my purchase, very happy with the product information provided and very happy with the quick shipping and great packaging. Thanks!" Melayna Anderson
"By far the best customer care I've had in a long time. Website is such a wealth of information and the email with instructions for use after my purchase was fantastic. The pipette for measuring the correct amount was such a great inclusion, and the personalised message on the package was very cool. Definitely my go to shop for plant supplies now. Thanks Love That Leaf! A+++" Karyn Wilson
