Philodendron Neon 

This girl should come with a warning *sunglasses required* She's like sunshine in a pot! Bright and beautiful with golden-lime heart-shaped leaves. Also called Cordatum Neon and Philodendron Lemon Lime, but we know her best in NZ as Philodendron Neon.

All photos - except the one hanging to show you their lovely shape and glow - are the same plant, which is the exact plant you'll receive. This baby is growing really well, currently in Bioleaf Aroid Mix and fed 5mls of GT Foliage Focus every time I water. Already 16cms tall and in an 11cm TEKU clear pot. Triple planted, so three times the plants than normal, with 2 active growth points.

Those glossy chartreuse leaves aren't fans of masses of light or they'll turn pale yellow, so they are a great choice for medium indirect light. She'll even be happy in lower light. Foliage starts golden yellow and fades to lime over time. When mature, new growth comes in a blush coral pink and fades through lemony-gold to lime.

A very easy care member of the Philodendron family. She'll climb or trail happily for you. I adore these when left to vine naturally, as going by this pup's mother plant, she won't become spindly or leggy like some do when left to vine. Instead this variety tends to stay very thick, bushy and lush - especially if you start off with a triple planted pup like this baby is.

You might be able to spot in some photos that there's one leaf with a tiny fleck of
 sport variegation. It's so minor (just a very small splash) that it's not really worth mentioning, and there's no guarantee it will continue or get more. The mother plant frequently throws variegated leaves with small stripes and speckles which is relatively common for the Neon.

I want it! How do I get this plant?

Add to cart then check out like normal. It doesn't matter what address you enter when you checkout, so enter your address like usual. You will see one of the shipping options is PICK-UP. You can only select this option if you have a pick-up plant included with your order. This plant cannot be shipped to you because covid is causing unpredictable shipping times, so I don't want to risk shipping plants at the moment. Once paid for, it's all yours! Be sure to read the rest of the pick up FAQ's below before you go ahead.

Where is pick-up from?


One Tree Hill in Auckland. Once you've completed your order, I'll email you to arrange a pick-up day and time that suits you. Pick-up is required within 1 week (7 days) of ordering. Pick-up times are between 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to midday Saturday. I'll let you know the address and my mobile number after you order. Keep an eye out for the email, usually sent the same day depending on what time of day you order.

Please note it will be contactless pick-up, so your plant will be placed safely under cover for you to collect, on the day and time you choose. Just text me when you're on your way. Only your plant will be waiting for you, with your name on it, to avoid confusion :) 

What if I my plans change?

If pick-up needs to change closer to the time, all good, I'll give you my mobile number so we can keep in touch. As long as pick up is still completed within 7 days of ordering.

Can I order other products for pick-up also?

Yes, you can.  Provided you have a pick-up plant in your order, you can add other products to the same order, and collect everything at the same time. However without a pick-up plant in your order, you cannot do 'click and collect' or pick-up. An order without a pick-up plant included, cannot be picked up. 

Can you put a plant 'on hold' for me? 

No holds or rain-checks sorry. Only once your order is paid for is your plant is all yours. Adding to cart does not 'save' a plant for you, or stop others from buying it. I can't hold a plant. It really is 'first in, first served' and orders do need to be completed and paid for on the website.

Can someone else pick my order up for me?

Yes, they can. The only two people who know what day and time your plant will be ready for collection is you and me, so if you want to share those details with someone else so they can collect for you, all good, that's up to you. Just ask them to text me when they're on their way.  

Shipping and Delivery FAQ's


Flat rate shipping is $5.90 nationwide (or $9.50 for rural). Order as many products as you like without paying anything extra for shipping. The only exceptions are plants and fragile or oversize products (like handmade pottery and coffee table books), which have their own rates. 

For $2 you can upgrade to signature required. Well worth it for anything valuable or limited edition that can't be replaced. Choosing signature required gives both of us the ability to claim if anything goes wrong with the courier. Signature required is flat rate $7.90 nationwide (or $12.50 for rural).


Everything showing in stock online, is in stock right here, right now, in Auckland NZ, ready to ship. No drop shipping from other countries. No delays.



Orders ship every week-day, Monday to Friday (except plants which only ship Mondays and Tuesdays). For everything else, order before 7pm Sunday through Thursday, and your order will normally be packed and on the courier the next morning. Zoom zoom! We do ship on Saturdays also when we can, however can't always guarantee a Friday order will ship on a Saturday.



Normal delivery is 1 to 2 working days. Some regions can take longer, 3 to 4 working days is normally the longest wait, depending on where you're based (I'm based in Auckland). Keep in mind covid and extreme weather can both cause delays.
