Snake Plant Sansevieria Moonshine

$34.99 NZD

She's a beauty. She's considered a good luck plant, is good looking, and super duper easy care. Meet our favourite unsung, underrated hero, the Sansevieria or Snake Plant. She may look dramatic with her architectural leaves, but she's anything but when it comes to the care department. Zero drama queen tendencies. Low light? All good. Forgetful waterer? Even better. Of course bright. indirect light is better, but this gal will wow you with her super tolerant ways. Neglect is not a bad thing. Dry is your friend.  THE ultimate Chrissy pressie when you're unsure how green a thumb your loved one has, and an office must-have when everyone thinks someone else is doing the watering this week.

Check out her full plant care guide here for the low-down and to find out her rich history from good luck charm to protector.

We went on a buying trip and our other 5 Moonshine girls are put aside for a special order, so now just this 1 babe left up for grabs. She's a soft, lightly variegated, grey-green with subtle stripes and deep green edges to those lovely broad leaves. A beauty who's double-planted with new growth in both, plus a whole new growth tip emerging, so soon to be a triple beauty. She's in a 12cm wide x 14cm tall nursery pot and stands just over 41cm tall at her tallest tip measured from the bottom of her pot.

*Please note: She comes in her black nursery pot. The Elho cover pots and Orchid & Fig fabric cover pots shown for inspo only - cover pots not included*

One of the joys of Sansevieria for us is how amazing they look in cover pots. This babe fits the medium Orchid & Fig 15cm fabric cover pots beautifully, but if you go for a classic Elho cover pot instead, go up to the 16cm size in the Elho (as her taller nursery pot doesn't match the Elho 14cm cover pot height). In a 16cm Elho Brussels or B.For Soft she'll have room around the edges as shown.

We think she looks her best in colour (we love her in the new Orchid & Fig fabric cover pots), particularly shades of pinks and blues, but when you look this good a statement monochrome look is hard to beat with white, charcoal and black all making her the star.
