This plant is one of one. The exact plant shown in all photos is the one you'll receive. Pick up onlyPlease read the Plant Pick Up FAQ's at the end before you add to cart.

Syngonium Mojito

I'm a Syngonium lover from way back, but Syngonium have really captured hobbyist's interest lately, especially the variegated Mojito with their gorgeous mottled leaves, which have luckily had a little bit of a price drop recently. You can now get a medium Mojito for around $150, meaning the price of babies have come down nicely too. These grow so fast you'll soon have a big Mojito of your own - and have saved heaps by buying a baby instead!

This chap is well rooted and growing happily in the amazing Bioleaf fine/medium blend, with a new leaf unfurling right now, that might be out by the time you collect. Currently 2 beautifully mottled leaves and more to come. Not such a baby anymore though, already over 30cms tall, including the pot, and about 35cms wide

All photos are of the same plant, which is the exact plant you'll receive. Currently in an 11cm Teku clear pot that allows you to easily monitor moisture level and root health at a glance. Very well rooted in Bioleaf Chunky Mix premium potting mix. Raised on GT CCS root fertiliser, and now shifted to GT Foliage Focus complete fertiliser, at 5mls per litre, with every water.

Get your plant along with a Botanopia plant stake now, which fits the current pot size, or upgrade to a Grow Vertical when you pot up to a 14cm+ pot. Best not to repot for at least 4 weeks after arrival. Well worth getting a 14cm pot and Grow Vertical Mini with your plant now as these grow so much faster and bigger once on a Grow Vertical pole where they can attach their aerial roots.

Make sure to read the plant pick-up FAQ's below before you buy.

Syngonium Mojito care

The Mojito's care is the same as any Syngonium but with allowances for a little extra light. You still want bright, indirect light to avoid scorching those gorgeous leaves. Mojito can be fast growers in the right conditions, and do better with fertiliser. I use GT Foliage Focus fertiliser at 5mls GT per 1 litre water. A support pole like  a Botanopia plant stake when small or Grow Vertical will reward you with much bigger leaves and faster, less leggy growth.

Keep them lightly moist when young, letting the top quarter to half or so of the pot dry out before watering again. Clear pots are great to help avoid over-watering. These guys thrive in aroid mix. I use the Bioleaf brand for mine. If / when you do pot up a size, that mix also helps reduce transplant stress. I'd go up to a 14cm clear pot next when ready.

They prefer higher humidity if you can, but will be happy around 40% to 50% humidity if all other conditions are good. Above 60% humidity is better but not essential. Warm conditions are ideal also, around the range of 15 to 25 degrees

*Plant pick up FAQ's*

Please read before you buy

Please only purchase provided you are happy with the following requirements. Please read in full before you buy. If your question isn't answered below, ask first before you buy...

I want it! How do I get this plant?

Add to cart then check out like normal. It doesn't matter what address you enter when you checkout, so enter your address like usual. You will see one of the shipping options is PLANT PICK-UP. You can only select this option if you have a plant included with your order. This plant cannot be shipped to you because covid combined with recent long weekends is causing unpredictable shipping times, so I don't want to risk shipping plants at the moment. Once paid for, it's all yours! Be sure to read the rest of the pick up FAQ's below before you go ahead.

Where is pick-up from?

One Tree Hill in Auckland. Once you've completed your order, I'll email you and we can arrange a pick-up day and time that suits you. Pick-up is required within 1 week (7 days) of ordering. Pick-up times are between 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to midday Saturday. I'll let you know the address and my mobile number after you order. Keep an eye out for the email, usually sent the same day depending on what time of day you order *If you don't get the email within one day of ordering, check your promotions tab, junk or spam folder*

Please note it will be contactless pick-up, so your plant will be placed safely under shelter for you to collect, on the day and time you choose. Just text me when you're on your way. Only your plant will be waiting for you, with your name on the box :)

What if I my pick-up plans have to change?

If pick-up needs to change closer to the time, all good, I'll give you my mobile number so we can keep in touch. As long as pick up is still completed within 7 days of ordering.

Can I order other products for pick-up also?

Yes, you can.  Provided you have a plant in your order, you can add other products to the same order, and collect everything at the same time. However without a plant in your order, you cannot do 'click and collect' or pick-up.

Can you put a plant 'on hold' for me?

No holds or rain-checks sorry. Only once your order is paid for is your plant is all yours. Adding to cart does not 'save' a plant for you, or block others from buying it. I can't hold a plant. It really is 'first in, first served' and orders do need to be completed and paid for on the website.

Can someone else pick my order up for me?

Yes, they can. The only two people who know what day and time your plant will be ready for collection is you and me, so if you want to share those details with someone else so they can collect for you, all good, that's up to you. Just ask them to text me when they're on their way.

Can I change which plant I get? Or choose from a few options?

The plant you will receive is the exact plant in the photos only. Every plant I list is one of one, with each plant photographed separately, so cannot be changed for a different plant.

Very happy with my purchase, very happy with the product information provided and very happy with the quick shipping and great packaging. Thanks!" Melayna Anderson

"By far the best customer care I've had in a long time. Website is such a wealth of information and the email with instructions for use after my purchase was fantastic. The pipette for measuring the correct amount was such a great inclusion, and the personalised message on the package was very cool. Definitely my go to shop for plant supplies now.
