Botanopia Propagation & Germination Plate
The Botanopia Propagation Plate is a curved, white porcelain clay dish that comes in a beautiful gift box. This is the small size, ideal for rooting indoor plant cuttings in water, right up to growing small trees such as oak trees from an acorn, and germinating seeds and nuts, such as growing a lemon tree from seed.
How does it work?
Turns almost any glass, jar, vase or mug into a propagation vessel. Makes for a beautiful display too. Rests on the top of the vessel. Gently supporting the leaf, cutting, seed or nut out of the water to avoid rot, while the stem sits in the water. The curved shape keeps the bottom of acorns, nuts or seeds in touch with the water, or pop your unrooted cutting through the hole in the centre to root (the hole measures 11mms and the porcelain plate width is 92mms wide).
Made by hand for Botanopia in a small ceramics studio located in the Czech Republic. Presented in a black, gold-embossed gift box, with the porcelain plate nestled in with black and gold botanical print tissue paper inside, plus a directions and tips booklet inside. A beautiful gift for the nature-loving loved one in your life.
What plants can you grow?
This is the small size, ideal for all our indoor plants from smaller stems like Pilea and Philodendrons, up to thicker stems such as Ficus. Also the ideal size for Spider Plant pups, Cacti, Pothos and Syngonium cuttings, Alocasia corms, Hazelnuts, Acorns, Walnuts, Lemons trees, Almonds and small bulbs.
What are the measurements?
The width of the small propagation plate is 9.3cms wide and the centre hole measures 1.1cms.

SHIPPING RATES
Shipping is FREE for all orders over $80. Orders under $80: Auckland Standard $5, signature required $7, or rural $9. Rest of the North Island and the South Island: Standard $7, signature required $9, or rural $11. Plants, fragile and overweight/oversize parcels have separate rates.

SHIPPING EVERY DAY
Orders ship every week-day, Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 7pm Monday to Thursday leave the next morning. Zoom zoom! Fri, Sat & Sun orders leave Monday (or the next working day).

Normal delivery is 1 to 3 working days. Rural and some regions can take a day or 2 longer, depending on where you're based (orders ship from Auckland).
