Love That Leaf is proud to bring houseplant hobbyists the next in the world-famous NurtureSystem line-up: No.6 RootDoctor in the 250ml size.
RootDoctor is for root emergencies. RootDoctor gets to work fast, helping clear root rot, dead and rotting organic matter and debris from around roots in substrate.
Leaving behind a healthier root-zone environment able to focus on recovery (best used with No.3 RapidRecovery for root rehab and to supercharge root growth).
Used regularly, RootDoctor also works preventatively to reduce the risk of root rot while improving the nutrient uptake pathway (best used with No.1 PowerGrow fertiliser).
This adaptive formula can be used in hydro (water), and semi-hydro (eg: leca, pon), soil-based and soil-free substrates.
PLUS one FREE 3ml pipette included with every NurtureSystem order for easy measuring.
What does RootDoctor do?
🪴Root rot > Helps prevent growth of fungi and bacteria that can cause root rot.
🪴Fungi > Supports natural plant defences against invading harmful fungi.
🪴Waste > Helps break down dead and decaying organic plant matter.
🪴Microbes > Restricts growth of biofim, slime, algae and other microbial contaminants in hydroponics and semi-hydroponics.
(beneficial for self-watering / water reservoirs when growing in leca and pon)
🪴Nutrients > Increases the natural break down of decaying plant material into beneficial nutrients and helps release nutrients locked in the substrate.
🪴Soil structure > Supports beneficial soil microbes to aid in the movement of air and water.
🪴 Repair > Aids callus formation of damaged roots, helping support the regeneration process after plant tissue is wounded.
Which plants is RootDoctor for?
Formulated for all tropical houseplants, including Monstera, Philodendron, Syngonium, Epipremnum, Alocasia, Anthurium (and many more). Do not use on food / feed crops.
Directions for use
250ml RootDoctor makes 125 litres.
SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE
RootDoctor can be used by itself but for best results, use RootDoctor with RapidRecovery and/or No.1 PowerGrow fertiliser in the same water.
💧Root drench: Add 2ml / 1 litre water. Apply as a root drench* every 7 to 10 days from root rot to recovery, or for every flush of hydroponics and semi-hydroponics systems.
Not suitable for use as foliar application.
*Root drench = apply to base of the plant either via top or bottom watering / soaking to the point the root zone is thoroughly wet for more effective, targeted root treatment.
