Claroplants make playful, minimal plant accessories designed to inspire everyone to bring more nature indoors and make the most of even small places. Saving space and growing without the need for soil, plastic pots or cover pots. You can transform almost any vessel into a new home for your plants, from glasses and mugs to vases and more, with your Claroplants plate on top holding your plant perfectly in place.  

What sizes do Claroplants come in? 

Available in two sizes:

SMALL is the most popular size, measuring 10cms wide with a 2.5cm round opening in the middle. The side slot makes it easy to slide off and change plants with no damage to roots. The ideal size for propagating and growing the majority of indoor plants from cuttings, such as Philodendron, Syngonium, Pothos, Hoyas and many more. Also used for flowers, small succulents and cacti. 

LARGE are also 10cms wide but have a larger 4cm wide round opening for big seeds such as Avocado, Mango, large Bulbs, bigger Succulents and Cacti.

Which colour is this one?

This is the SMOKE in small, shown below. A subtle, clear, smoky black that puts all the focus on your plants. Minimal for the win.

Where are Claroplants made?

From Cypress in the Eastern Mediterranean, to New Zealand in the Southern Ocean. Claroplants combine form and function. Made in Europe, new to New Zealand and exclusive to Love That Leaf.

In Spanish, Claro means "clear, obvious, sure, of course". In our world of the houseplant hobby, water propagation is the most popular method for growing new plants. But the real magic happens when you keep your plants growing in water and watch them thrive. Claroplants makes both possible and beautiful, of course!
 

What are they made of?

They may look like delicate art glass, but Claroplants are made of tough, colour-fast acrylic. Claroplants can be re-used over-and-over for everything from water propagation to hydroculture, whether temporarily or permanently growing your plants in pure water. Just add fertiliser!

Are they suitable for gifts?

Absolutely! If you're able to resist keeping them all for yourself, Claroplants make a gorgeous, unique gift for plant-lovers and colour-lovers alike, and anyone with a love of a playful yet minimalist design aesthetic. Each Claroplants grow plate comes tucked up in a brown, slim, square gift box (easy to wrap!), with 7 page fold-out booklet inside with tips for growing from a cutting, from a seed or a bulb, or for transplanting from soil to water.    

What are all the colours?

Lilac - A delicate, soft shade of see-through cool-toned lavender. My favourite with a clear glass tumbler or vase for a subtle wash of colour. 

Orange - A bright, sunny orange that looks like Summer feels. Such a happy shade.  

Lemon - Fluoro yellow, the neon green colour of a highlighter pen. 80's vibes. Casts a gorgeous bright-lemon colour in the sun or under lights.

Neon Pink - Bright, happy hot pink. Hi Barbie! I love the pink with the orange for a tropical Summer holiday vibe.  

Bubblegum - A delicious, soft, frosted pink. A new addition to the range.

Violet - An intense, electric purple. Colour-changes to a stunning deep red wine shade in different lights.

Blue - An intense royal blue. Love this one with Orange, Violet and Neon Pink, wow! I'm not usually a blue fan but this one's a top favourite. 

Amethyst - Similar to Violet but with a frosted finish. A little softer than the intense purple-pink of the Violet. A very soothing shade.

Smoke - Subtle, clear, black and minimalist. All the attention's saved for your plants.

Clear Small - Keep the focus on your plants. Clear are double the thickness of the coloured acrylic. Combine with a clear vase or glass and it's like your plants are floating.

Clear Large - The best choice for Avocado, Hyacinth, bulbs and thicker-stemmed succulents and cacti. Also double the thickness of the colour acrylic.
