Once you get past the funny-looking folding 'wings' this light will be your new favourite plant tech.
The Sansi 60 watt 'Wing Light' has new-generation, cooler-running LEDs for more light with less heat. The bright, white light mimics the 'solar spectrum' with the light output appearing like the colour of natural sunlight but with no harmful, burning UV rays. Plus the clever design means it's like having 4 grow lights in one!
The broader beam angle covers a larger area, ideal for larger collections or when you just want one light to cover an entire room. The higher light output also means it can be located further up or further away (right up at ceiling height if you wish, depending on the height of your ceiling of course).
Plus you can position each 'wing' separately to meet the needs of different height plants at the same time, directing the light to different areas of your plant room, garage or grow tent.
Just like the Sansi single bulb grow lights, the 'Wing Light' has the same standard NZ screw-in E27 fitting. For the full ratings, size and more, check the specifications list below the videos. If using it with a plug-in pendant cord to hang from a wall bracket or ceiling hook, just check it's rated for 60 watts+ Keep in mind this is a powerful light and although it runs cooler than comparable models, good airflow is still important in the area when running to avoid overheating.
What's the Sansi 60 watt like 'in real life'?
Before we get to the specs, have a watch of these videos below which give you a great overview, sense of their size, brightness and area coverage, plus all the ways to position the 'wings' (just a note that this model is the one without a hook that instead screws straight into a standard NZ E27 fitting).

Warranty: Sansi says their LEDs are rated to run for up to 50,000 hours in theory, BUT that doesn't account for conditions in our homes. Factors like heat, moisture, airflow and more can have a big impact on how long a bulb will last.
As you can tell from the price, Sansi are great value-for-money for an entry-level solution to boost light levels for houseplants grown indoors, but are not a high-end, premium solution.
In my own use at home I find I get 1 to 3 years per Sansi bulb and at that stage they usually still work, but slowly become dimmer over time (called lumen degradation, normal for all LEDs).
I provide a 6 month warranty on electrical items I sell (including Sansi bulbs), which covers manufacturing faults and defects. It doesn't cover wear and tear, accidents or faults caused by conditions. The consumer guarantees act also applies to home use.
