Do yourself and your plants a favour. Cheap as chips, but such a hassle-free time-saver, that's as gentle on your plants as it is helpful for you. There are so many ways to attach a plant to a support pole. But everything else is so fiddly to put in place and do up, damages or digs in to stems, loosens over time, or is such a pain when you have to reposition it. Not with this handy dandy plant velcro.

Where has this been all my life? 'Meh' (I told myself), 'I'm never going to spend money buying plant ties'. Well, I was wrong. Yes, I know, it's just a plant tie. What's the big deal? But of all the many ways to secure a plant to a support pole, this is hands-down my favourite.
It's super soft one side (that's the side that touches your plant stem), with tiny hooks on the other. No huge, noisy, nasty velcro hooks here. No adhesive or tape needed. No knots, no bows. Reusable too. Once those aerial roots have firmly attached to the pole you can remove or reposition it elsewhere. This is awesome to have on hand if you have a Grow Vertical support pole.
Just snip to the length you want (kitchen scissors do the job fine, it's easy to cut), roll a loop around your plant and support, soft side against the stem, and the little hooks will securely attach back onto the loop. Job done. Bends and twists easily for tricky jobs. Easy to reposition.
This is for one 5 metre roll of plant velcro in black. 5 metres sounds like a lot, but it doesn't take up much room rolled up (one roll is about 8 to 9cm across) and once you have it, you'll find lots of uses for it. The width is 1.5cms. Big enough for a secure hold, but small enough not to get in the way of leaves.
PRO TIP TO DOUBLE THE LENGTH
I much prefer to cut this in half lengthways which gives you a 7mm wide strips, and makes this a 10 meter roll. Twice as much for the same price. I do use it full width for my chunky stemmed jungle members, like my Monstera, and cut it down to half for everyone else with thinner stems, like Pothos, Philodendron and more.
I currently use it to attach vines climbing around my plant shelves, to my Monstera, Philodendron and other biggies working their way up support poles (that's one of my Philodendron Pink Princess girls in the photos). Also handy used as a cable tie for messy cords. I keep one roll in with my plant supplies, and another roll in my 'everything draw' (everyone has one of those, right?). Hubby calls it a 'bits and bobs' draw.
