About Mozzie Bits

Also called 'Mozzie Bits' BTI is used for natural, biological control of both mosquitoes and fungus gnats with no harm to good bugs, our plants, or us! Soak the BTI granules in warm water for 30 minutes, scoop out the used granules, and water your plants as usual. The BTI in the granules will kill the fungus gnat larvae. Use 4 tablespoons per 4.5 litres of water (or just under 2 tablespoons per 2 litres). No need to water more than usual, add fertiliser in the same mix if you like. One 200gram box of Mozzie Bits works out to just over 33 tablespoons so one pack makes over 37 litres of treatment. I will email you the full directions after you order. 

Mesh Bag

I admit the granules are a pain to scoop out after soaking. Messy and time-consuming.  Some you have to fish out because they sink to the bottom, most float, but when you scoop them out you don't want to lose any of that precious water! 

Save the mess, time and hassle and pop the granules in this zip-close mesh bag instead. Pop the bag in warm water for a quick soak (like making a cup of tea with a tea bag!), then pull it out. Dispose of the used granules and use the mesh bag again for next time. So easy.
