Christmas and Holiday Dates 22/23
The silly season is here which means couriers will be extra busy and deliveries will take longer than usual from late November to mid January. Please order early and allow for delays at this time of year. See below for expected delivery times and what to do if your parcel is delayed.
Last day to order for Christmas delivery
Most courier companies are recommending getting the last parcels on the way on Monday 19th, so I'd suggest ordering no later than midday Sunday 18th to make the Monday cut-off.
IMPORTANT: Some regions are already experiencing longer-than-usual delays. (Wellington for example currently has up to 7 working days instead of the usual 1 to 2 days for delivery). To be extra safe (no matter what the couriers might promise), I'd recommend ordering before midday Wednesday 14th at the latest so I can get your parcel on the way on Thursday 15th.
22/23 holiday dates
CLOSED: The website will stay open so you can order online anytime throughout the holidays, however shipping will be delayed. Orders placed after midday Wed 21st Dec will ship from Wed 4th Jan onwards.
OPEN: Shipping starts again from Wed 4th Jan but not all holiday orders will leave on the same day, so please allow a day or two extra for me to catch up on orders.
Expected delivery this time of year
From around Black Friday onwards (late November), until around mid-January, delivery delays should be expected. The usual 1 to 2 working days may be 3 to 4 working days (or longer as we get closer to Christmas), however most parcels will arrive within 5 working days.
If it's been more than 4 working days since your order left me, I will call the courier for you, check everything's okay and see what I can do to help speed things up. Please do let me know and I'll put through a delayed delivery enquiry right away.
However until your parcel is more than 4 working days delayed, please have patience. The couriers are much busier than usual and under extra pressure as it is. Some regions are also struggling with staff shortages and covid so I'd rather not add to their workload until a parcel is genuinely delayed considering the time of year.
Please add an extra 2 working days for rural deliveries and remote regions.
