Rain Acrylic Plant Stake - ROSE

$2.40 NZD

Add a little whimsy to the serious business of supporting your plant's growth. Give your plant support and give yourself a smile all in one with these colourful acrylic plant stakes. The Rain Acrylic Plant Stakes now come in 5 colourways

Colours and sizes

There's the original Clear and new Rose (pale pastel pink with a touch of peach), Sky blue, Lucky green and Amethyst purple. The new colourways are 24.5cms long and 5mm thick (0.5cms). The original Clear are a little longer, thinner and cost less than the thicker, coloured stakes.

So simple, yet so many benefits

  • Light yet strong, perfect for all your smaller plants.
  • Won't tip small pots over.
  • Slides in easily - no need to repot for minimal disturbance of roots.
  • Made to last of strong acrylic.
  • Reusable over and over.
  • Won't absorb water like bamboo, wood or fern fibre stakes.
  • Won't rot, rust or go mouldy

Great for climbers and to give weak or bendy stems extra support. At just under 25cms they're the perfect height for all your babies and smaller plants not yet ready for a trellis or moss pole. Solves the problem of giving plants support in pots too small to fit a trellis, or with less established, delicate root systems you want to disturb as little as possible.

Made of solid, colourful, see-through, round acrylic. The perfect width (5mm), for attaching smaller stems and vines using your choice of claw clips in clear, green or rainbow (not included, definitely grab yourself a pack).

Which plants are these best for?

All your smaller, thinner, finer-stemmed jungle members. Hoyas, Orchid spikes, Ivy, small Philodendron, Pothos, Epipremnum and more. Great to support weak, floppy or young stems for Begonia, Pilea. Peperomia, Syngonium... the list goes on!

Why acrylic?

Acrylic does cost more, but is stronger and more durable than glass with 17 x the impact-resistance. Acrylic is also 50% lighter than glass, and has very high clarity, with light transmittance equal to glass. Over time when other plastics yellow, acrylic retains its clarity with minimal yellowing. Acrylic is popular for tables and furniture, glasses lens, computer screens, jewellery, product displays... and plant stakes and supports :)

How to care for acrylic

Clean with warm, soapy water only. No need for harsh or abrasive detergents or cloths which can scratch or cloud the clear surface. The surface can be polished back to smooth if scratched.

This is for the plant stake only. Plant/s and clip/s shown are not included. Claw clips available separately in cleargreen or rainbow

Super Pretty

This stake colour is super pretty and looks so lovely against the green of my indoor plant. So nice to have something with a bit of colour.

Really Helpful & Pretty

Love having these in the house. I always need one for something unexpectedly so I keep a little bundle of them available. And again outstanding service provided 👍

Great colours

Great colours. I like to put these in my orchid pots to support flower spikes. A nice pop of colour while you are waiting for them to bloom!
