Aurea's Halo ring grow light for indoor plants is a super-affordable, full-spectrum grow light kit for bringing light to wherever you want to put your plants, even in low-light or no-light areas.

Fully customisable with adjustable height, brightness, light colour, timer or manual mode, all built-in, no app or remote needed.

Self-standing making it easy to move between plants and rooms at home or work, no permanent screws or adhesive tape needed.

Perfect solution for plants on tables, on your desk at work, on top of cabinets, consoles or hallway tables even in dark areas of your home, in bathrooms, inside closed-side book shelves and more.

Just move it to where your plants need it, and where YOU want to put your plants (even when natural light wouldn't have allowed you to put a plant there).

Aurea's Halo model is about as easy as grow lights get while still giving you the ability to customise your light for your plant's needs.

12 month free replacement NZ warranty

Comes with the peace-of-mind of an extended 12 month NZ warranty with free return and free replacement (more details about the warranty at the end).

Aurea's Halo model has higher-rated specs, better materials and build quality compared to other brands or copycat halo-type lights.

What's included with the kit?

⭐ Single, wide beam, full-spectrum ring grow light with tilt adjust angle from vertical to 90 degrees,

⭐ Adjustable telescopic light stem from 18cm to 62cms tall to cover one or multiple plants,

⭐ 3 automatic 24 hour repeat timer options: 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours (or on/off manually),

⭐ Self-standing with large clear base to sit securely under pots (or light stem can go directly into the pot),

⭐ Corded, plug-in light with long 1.8 metre cord and low wattage, standard USB A plug (add your own adaptor),

⭐ In-line controller for adjusting all settings, no app, phone or remote needed.

Can be used plugged directly into USB A powerboard, laptop or computer, no adaptor needed, or use a standard 1a NZ plug adaptor to plug into wall sockets (adaptor not included, compatible with 1a, 2a and 3a USB A NZ plug adaptors also).

The specs (and what they mean)

⭐ Rated IP54. Splash-proof, spray-proof, dust-protected and water-resistant for use in humid environments. Rated zone 1 and zone 2 for bathrooms. Exceeds basic zone 1 bathroom use requirements (zone 1 is IP44).

⭐ 300-700 nanometers, the range that covers PAR which plants need to support photosynthesis and regulate growth. It's not about the brightness (how it appears to us), but the PAR that matters to our plants.

⭐ Rated for 30,000 hours with extended 12 month free replacement warranty for peace-of-mind (full warranty details at the end of the page). All looked after here in NZ for you if anything goes wrong.

⭐ Standard USB A plug type and low wattage (5V in / 6W out), for very low power use and maximum compatibility with power adaptors you already have at home (look on your adaptor for 1A or 5V). Compatible with higher rated adaptors also such as 2A and 3A.

⭐ The ring light housing is made of galavanised steel. not plastic. A powder-coated steel with a layer of protective zinc added to help block moisture, air, dust and other pollutants from getting into the LED lights.

Size check

The halo ring light measures 8.5cms across with housing made of galvanised steel, not plastic.

The clear, larger base measures 11.5 x 8.5cms for better stability compared to the usual small halo light bases.

The sturdy, telescopic light stem adjusts from 18cms up to 62cms tall. Adjustable brightness means you can have the Aurea Halo closer for plants in places without much space above them.

The cord measures 1.8 metres long (180cms) for longer reach from your power source.

Light output colour

Unlike most grow lights, Aurea's Halo model offers the choice of 3 colour temperatures.

You can change the setting with a push of a button for different times of day or according to your taste (it doesn't change the value of the light for your plants). The options are:

A warm golden-white which is gentler on our eyes, a lovely choice for afternoon to evening light.

Neutral white which appears similar to daylight at midday to our eyes.

Or a cool crisp blue-white, similar to the natural, cooler light colour in winter.

Extended NZ Warranty

All electrical products from Love That Leaf have a 6 month warranty but the Aurea Halo comes with an extended 12 month warranty.

The warranty covers manufacturing faults or defects, basically things you did not cause and could not have prevented, on purpose or by accident, and provided the issue is not considered normal wear and tear.

Please note the extended warranty covers the light, not your adaptor, so always test a different adaptor first just in case.

As a customer I've always hated the hassle and awkwardness of returns, so as the owner of Love That Leaf, I make it as fast, friendly and hassle-free as I can for you. I cover the cost of the return also (for NZ purchases and household use within NZ only, not commercial) - Anna :)
