*If the Standard is ever sold out, the Long is the same width (just trim to size) so both the Standard and Long fit all models listed below*
Which humidifiers fit the standard size?
The H2O Mini, H2O 500, H2O 300, H2O 750 and H2O UP all fit these standard wicks (trim shorter for the shorter models).
These same models listed also fit the Long (in case the Standard is ever sold out).
This is for ONE filter wick refill, which will last on average 3 months* Each wick measures 15cms long x 8mm wide.
It's important when changing wicks in any humidifier, not to lose the wick spring at the end of the wick cover.
Without it your humidifier won't run properly.
TIP: Always keep your old wick to match the length when trimming your new wick.
*How long does a humidifer filter wick last?
It varies depending on use, but a core tends to last 2 to 6 months, on average it's recommended you check and replace your core every 3 months (4 times a year if using daily).
Running in a dusty or smoky environment will mean your core needs replacing more often. Harder water with higher mineral content can also shorten how often you need to change the wick, as the wick helps prevent hard minerals blocking the mist outlets.
To extend the life of each core: keep surrounding surfaces wiped clean of dust, and floor area vacuumed / swept clean.
You can also soak the filter in vinegar about once a month to dissolve mineral deposits (just soak the filter, not the whole humidifier, always take the wicks out to soak them, do not soak in vinegar inside the humidifier).

If you notice any mould or discolouration from dust / minerals etc, it's time to change the wick.
Continuing to use a dirty or blocked filter can end up with dirt, dust or minerals making their way in to the atomiser and out the mist outlets, which can damage your humidifier beyond repair and blokc the mist outlets.
Look for yellowing or browning from the core and ends of the wick.
