Make Fungus Gnat treatment MUCH easier with this simple zip-close mesh bag. Measures 15cm long x 10cm wide. You only need 4 tablespoons of Mozzie Bits per 4 to 5 litres of water (for treating Fungus Gnats for indoor plants), so this bag will hold plenty. Think of it like a reusable tea bag!
As fantastic as mozzie tea is to treat Fungus Gnats, the Mozzie Bits granules themselves can be a pain to scoop out once soaked (not as annoying as the Fungus Gnats themselves though, argh). If you've already read How to Get Rid of Fungus Gnats you'll know about the two step method, using sticky traps to catch the adults, and brewing 'mozzie tea' to kill the larvae in the soil. Except brewing the tea is the easy bit (just soak the granules in warm water).
But once brewed, you've got lots of used Mozzie Bits granules floating around, some on top, some sunk to the bottom. You can scoop them out or strain them out using a sieve, if you have a sieve, as well as spare containers to tip everything into. Hopefully without spilling the tea everywhere when you tip. Messy, fiddly and a waste of tea!
Or - like a teabag lets the tea-leaves brew without ending up in your cuppa - you could just pop the Mozzie Bits granules in this reusable mesh bag.
