"This is the stuff... used CCS with water and Clonex rooting gel... two weeks and absolutely zero attention later, we had the fattest roots I've ever seen on a baby plant. Darn tootin'!" Erik Look ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Free pipette
Every GT order comes with one 5ml pipette free. One per order (not per bottle). At 5mls per 1 litre water, this 1 litre bottle makes 200 litres! Also available in 250ml size, which makes 50 litres.
What does CCS do?
CCS is a complete and balanced, specialist root fertiliser for use when propagating. For node and stem cuttings, wet stick propagation and seedlings. Most often used in hydroponics (growing in water), CCS is also compatible with all media including spagmoss, leca, fern fibre, lechuza pon, rockwool, potting mix and more.
"I have been using this in my propagations and the roots have gone crazy! This is a great product." Samantha Sutton-Pearson

Benefits of CCS
CCS is a complete root fertiliser formulated to support faster growth of stronger, healthier roots. For best results, use CCS with Clonex rooting gel (also made by GT). Vitamin B-1 and Auxins combine to quickly initiate root growth and reduce transplant shock, while reducing the risk of stem and leaf rot while roots establish.
How to use CCS
A little goes a long way. One 250ml bottle makes up to 50 litres (that's 5,000mls and a standard test tube holds around 20mls). Every GT order comes with one FREE 5ml pipette.
For propagation
Dilute 5mls CCS per 1 litre water (small vessels: 1ml per 200mls water). Use for propagating in water or substrates like rock wool, starter mix, fern fibre, spagmoss and more. Make up fresh with every water change or each time you water. When propagating in standing water, refresh cloning solution weekly.
CCS can also be applied as a foliar spray as frequently as every second day at 5ml per 1 litre dilution for an extra boost. Spray in low-light or after lights out. For even better results: Dip fresh cutting in Clonex gel first. As cuttings mature, ready to pot up, you can increase the dose up to 10mls CCS per 1 litre if required.
"This stuff is amazing, I swear my cuttings are growing roots before my eyes after using this." Lee-Anne Robertson

Who is GT?
CCS is made by Growth Technology, known in the industry as GT. These are the clever chaps behind world-famous Clonex gel. and the best-selling GT Foliage Focus.
#1 Calcium
Calcium is essential, yet most fertilisers don't include it. A calcium deficiency during root formation can cause stunted, shorter roots less likely to branch and more prone to browning and root rot. Calcium increases the protective layer around roots and root tips. If there’s a deficiency when new growth forms, the damage is done.
CCS is a complete fertiliser which includes calcium at the higher levels root require, providing 53 to 106 ppm calcium once diluted (based on 5ml to 10ml per litre).
#2 Gentle and safe
Most fertilisers are high in nitrogen and too strong for delicate new roots. CCS is a safe, gentle root fertiliser, formulated to protect and nourish while encouraging faster, stronger, new root growth. CCS uses urea-free nitrogen coupled with lower nitrogen levels. Guaranteed no sodium plus chloride-free potassium to reduce the risk of root burn.
#3 Complete
CCS includes all 12 essential nutrients. Nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium, magnesium, sulphur, iron, manganese, boron, zinc, copper and molybdenum. No sodium, chlorides, chlorine, cobalt or nickel, phyto-toxins that can harm delicate roots.
#4 Balanced
Both complete and balanced, with all 12 essential nutrients in the right ratio to support stronger, healthier roots while speeding up new root development.
#5 pH buffered
pH buffered to 6 once diluted in water, slightly acidic, right where nutrients become ideally available to root, helping avoid both deficiencies, increase nutrient uptake, and avoid toxic levels.
#6 Chelated minerals
Pronounced 'key-lay-ted' (think of a key unlocking a door). Chelating minerals 'unlocks' the 5 essential metal nutrients: iron, manganese, magnesium, zinc and copper. Chelation adds organic molecules to protect precious metals, keeping critical metal nutrients unlocked, water-soluble and available to roots.
"Cuttings rooted quicker and produced more roots. Got growth like I have not seen from just tap water." Jaystar
