Exclusive to Love That Leaf in NZ, Arka have come all the way from another small business in the USA. Created by Ara from Propagation Diaries in Atlanta, Georgia, whose Hoya collection is what dreams are made of (not to mention her Begonia, Anthurium, Alocasia and more).

Arka Petite Mini | 25 to 26cms tall | 4.5 to 6cms wide

Perfect for the little-ones who want to climb, but a big trellis would tip over their pot. I use this size right down to my 5cm propagation pots and larger, like the Teku Mini 5.5cm clear pot. If you want the sides of your Arka to be straight up-and-down in the pot (not curved inwards slightly at the bottom), go for pots 6cms and wider. 

Arka Small/Medium | 26cms to 28cms tall | 7cms to 10cms wide

Fits pots 6cms wide and larger, like the Rain Mini Clear Pot. Or if you want the sides of your Arka to be straight up-and-down in the pot (not curved inwards slightly towards the bottom), they fit pots from 10cm and wider.

Arka Medium/Large | 28cms to 30cms tall | 11cms to 12.5cms wide

Fits pots 10cms wide and larger, like the Rain 10 Clear Pot or Teku 11 Clear Pot. Or for straight up-and-down sides (not curved inwards slightly at the bottom), they fit pots from 12.5cm and wider.

Please note: When you order multiples of the same size, we'll do our best to give you all identical height and width Arka, however to avoid waste when they are made, they do vary in height and width, within the ranges listed above, however do allow 0.5cm overlap between sizes. 

What plants are the Arka trellis best for?

All your small to medium, thinner-stemmed plants that need support or want to climb. Perfect for Hoya, Chain of Hearts, miniature Orchids, Syngonium and smaller aroids including Philodendron, Pothos, Epipremnum and more. 
 
 

What are Arka made of?

Arka are made of acrylic. Yes, it costs more, but it's worth it for the almost glass-like super clear finish and strength, allowing them to be thin yet strong, so they can be made slim enough to slip into pots without disturbing roots.

Strong and more durable than glass with 17 x the impact-resistance. 50% lighter than glass. Won't tip over your smaller pots. Good flexibility without breaking, so you can gently squeeze together the 'feet' of your Arka to slide into smaller-width pots.  

Easy to wipe clean, and unlike other plastics that yellow over time, acrylic retains its clarity with minimal yellowing. Popular for tables and furniture, glasses lenses,  jewellery... and plant supports! 

How to care for acrylic

Clean with warm, soapy water only. Avoid harsh or abrasive detergents or cloths which scratch. Can be polished back to smooth if scratched.
